Our Services

How we help Georgetown golfers improve their game

Most “plateaus” aren’t skill problems. They’re body problems. We identify what’s limiting your rotation, control, and speed, then build a plan that helps you play stronger golf with less wear-and-tear.

Golf Physical Therapy

Golf-specific PT for the aches, stiffness, and swing limitations that keep showing up on the course. Get back to comfortable practice, confident swings, and finishing 18 without paying for it later.

Performance Physical Therapy (Active Adults)

One-on-one care for active adults who want to move better, stay strong, and keep doing what they love without constantly managing pain. Built for long-term capacity, not quick fixes.

Golf Performance Training

Training built to improve distance, consistency, and endurance so your swing stays powerful late in the round and your body keeps progressing between sessions.

What Georgetown golfers are saying

Golfers across Georgetown trust Golfers In Motion to help them play better, hit farther, and enjoy the game more.

Joey is the best. Knows exactly what I need to work on to get better. Highly recommended.
Mick Limprecht
Joey does an outstanding job blending his superior knowledge of the golf swing and the body. I can’t say enough great things about his work!
David Rosenberg
I worked with Joey late last summer because of pain on my left side that was exacerbated by playing golf. Joey was terrific in helping identify my issues (adductors, IT band, etc) and work out a program to deal with them. During the 8 weeks in July and August of 2023, he worked with me and gave me exercises to address my issues. The result was that my pain after playing golf was significantly decreased. I continue to play 3X a week and my handicap has returned to what is was before my physical problems started. I was close to quitting golf but Joey was able to diagnose and map out the right steps to get my body in shape so I could play without the pain that negatively impacted my enjoyment of golf.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions from Georgetown golfers about our training programs and what to expect.

How is golf performance training different from regular fitness training?

Regular fitness is general. Golf performance training focuses on the positions, rotation, and control your swing needs so your strength and mobility translate to better shots and a body that holds up.

Do I need to be a good golfer to start training?

No. If you want to swing more efficiently, feel better, and play more consistent golf, you’re a fit regardless of handicap.

How long does it take to see improvement in my game?

Every golfer is different, but many notice improvements in mobility and swing mechanics within the first few weeks. Building lasting power and consistency takes consistent work over time, and we'll guide you through that process.

What should I expect during my first visit?

We’ll look at what’s limiting your swing (mobility, stability, rotation, and control) and connect it to what you feel on the course, then map out a clear plan forward.

Do you work with golfers from other nearby cities?

Absolutely. Golfers from Round Rock, Cedar Park, Leander, and across Williamson County train with us regularly. Our location on Shell Rd makes us easy to reach from anywhere in the area.
