Golf Performance Training | Georgetown, TX

More distance now. A body that holds up for decades.

If you want to swing faster, hit it farther, and keep your game reliable year after year, golf performance training builds the strength, mobility, and endurance your swing depends on. This is for you if you’re losing yards, fading late in the round, or you want a plan built for long-term golf.

What Happens When Performance Goes Untrained

Distance Slowly Disappears

Speed doesn’t usually vanish overnight. It fades when your body can’t rotate, load, and produce power the way it used to.

Consistency Gets Harder to Repeat

When your body is tight or weak in the wrong places, your swing starts making compensations and timing and contact become less reliable.

You Don’t Hold Up Through 18

The last 5 holes feel heavy. Your swing shortens, your body tightens, and the golf you know you have becomes harder to access.

Key Performance Areas We Build

Physical qualities that drive distance and keep you playing.

Golfers typically train these areas to hit it farther and hold up better over time:

Rotational power and speed

Mobility to reach better swing positions

Core strength and control (for repeatable movement)

Lower-body power and stability (for ground force)

Upper-body strength for control and club delivery

Endurance for late-round consistency

Balance and movement efficiency

What golfers experience after training

Golfers often report more distance, better consistency, and the ability to practice and play without their body breaking down especially late in the round.

I’ve worked with Joey for a couple of years now. The recommendations and exercises he has provided me allow me to play golf pain-free.
Vipul Gidda
No one better than Joey, he's helped me improve my game from a mobility and power standpoint. I will continue seeing him until I die or move far away! I went to him with a massive strain in my hip, not allowing me to swing the club effectively. Now I am getting it 10-15 yards more. I am very happy with Joey!!
Tyler Boer
Joey is outstanding. Very knowledgeable. Was able to help me get back playing well before I thought possible.

Frequently Asked Questions

Here are answers to common questions about golf performance training at Golfers In Motion.

Is this different from working with a swing coach?

Yes and they work best together. A swing coach improves technique. We improve the physical capacity behind it (mobility, strength, power, endurance) so you can actually hold positions and repeat your swing with speed.

How long will it take to see results?

Most golfers feel changes quickly in mobility and how their body holds up. Measurable distance and speed gains build over the following weeks as strength and power increase. After your evaluation, you’ll get clear milestones so you know what progress should look like.

Do I need to be pain-free first?

Not always. If pain is the main limiter, we may start with Golf PT first or blend approaches. The quick call helps us choose the smartest starting point.

Is this worth the time and investment?

If distance, consistency, and longevity matter to you, this is the multiplier most golfers miss. It replaces random workouts with a plan built specifically for golf and keeps you playing strong for the long run.

Do you take insurance?

Performance training isn’t billed through insurance. If you need PT care, we’ll guide you to the right service.
