Healthy Aging Physical Therapy in Georgetown, TX

Your Best Years Aren't Behind You

Active adults come to us when pain, stiffness, or declining strength start getting in the way of the activities they love. We find what's actually driving it and build a plan to address it at the source. One-on-one, for a full hour, every session.

What Happens When Aging Pains Go Unaddressed

You Start Scaling Back

You scale back on golf, gardening, and weekend activities until "taking it easy" becomes the default — not a choice.

Nothing Fully Resolves

You rest until it settles, then it comes back the moment you push again — because the root issue was never actually addressed.

Confidence Takes a Hit

You stop planning tee times, trips, and active weekends because you're not sure your body will hold up.

What Active Adults Say About Their Progress

Active adults often notice less pain, better mobility, and more confidence getting through rounds, hikes, or everyday activities without bracing against discomfort.

I am not a golfer but since I started going to Golfers in Motion I had had a massive reduction in pain and discomfort from old injuries. Joey’s method is easy to follow while actively therapeutic. 10/10 would recommend
James Cole
I went to see Joey hoping that he would help me with my back pain while playing golf. I got so much more from him: I am playing not only pain free, but his diagnostic and recommended exercises have helped my game more than any lesson or practice I’ve done before. I eliminated issues with my swing without even trying, as I was compensating for my lack of mobility. Highly recommended.
Eduardo Juvera
Joey is outstanding. Very knowledgeable. Was able to help me get back playing well before I thought possible.

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers before you book a call.

Is physical therapy actually helpful for age-related pain and stiffness?

Yes. A lot of what gets written off as "normal aging" is actually driven by movement patterns, strength deficits, and load factors that respond well to targeted care. We assess what's actually limiting you and build a plan around that — so results show up in real activity, not just on paper.

What if I've never done physical therapy before?

Your first session is a full evaluation where we go over your history, assess how you move, and identify what's driving the problem. You'll leave with a clear understanding of what's going on and what the plan looks like — no guesswork, no generic protocols.

Do I have to stop being active during treatment?

Not necessarily. We build your plan around your lifestyle and goals. Most active adults continue doing what they enjoy at some level while we address the root issue. We adjust load and intensity to match where you are — so the plan is something you can actually follow.

How long will it take to see improvement?

It depends on what's driving the issue and how long it's been there. After your evaluation, you'll get a clear plan with realistic milestones so you know what progress looks like and aren't guessing week to week. Most people start noticing meaningful changes within the first few visits.

Do you take insurance?

We're cash-based, which means longer one-on-one sessions and a plan focused on outcomes rather than insurance rules. We accept HSA/FSA, and we can provide a superbill if you'd like to submit for possible reimbursement through your out-of-network benefits.
